Alex is the founding director of Quantum. His insurance career began in 1981 as a Claims Broker. He later switched to the placing side of the business, before spending time working for a global insurance broker and then directing the Jewellers Block and Specie Division of Gibbs Hartley Cooper. Alex left the Lloyd's Market at the end of 2003 to pursue new opportunities in Australia.

Peter joined Quantum in May 2009, introducing Specie business throughout Asia.Peter began his career in the London Lloyd’s Insurance Market in 1981, regularly moving between Broking Houses as a Claims Broker (focusing mainly on Marine Cargo and Aviation). In 1990, Peter joined Minet Fine Art & Jewellery team and remained with the same team that was acquired by Jardine Insurance Brokers. In 1996 Peter moved to Miller Group, introducing and developing Specie business within Asia, mainly Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.In 2003, he joined Oamps Special Risks UK and later moved to Besso Group in 2005 before migrating to Australia with his wife, Lisa, and four children to work with Alex at Quantum.Peter is heavily involved in the Local Football (Soccer) and is proud that Quantum are the main sponsor of Eaton-Dardanup Football Club.

Robert joined Quantum in December 2019, forming the Quantum London office alongside Alex and Peter. Robert’s Insurance career began back in 1987, working for a small Insurance broker in the City of London. He moved to the Miller group 3 years later where he would eventually work for Peter Streames helping to develop Specie Business in Asia. Robert followed Peter to both Oamps Special Risks UK and Besso Group, where he would maintain his relationship with both Alex and Peter, when they formed Quantum in Australia. Robert continued to work with Peter and Alex for a further 6 years whilst at Gallagher before eventually joining the Quantum family. Robert is a keen golfer, and is currently a Board Director of Boyce Hill Golf Club in his home town of Benfleet in Essex.

Victoria started work in the Lloyds market in the early 1990s with the Broker Harman Kemp N.A. Ltd working on a variety of different classes of business from North America. A short spell followed with Broker Dennis M. Clayton before a cross over from the Broking side to Novae Syndicates Ltd (formerly SVB) in 2001; firstly working in the service company team before heading across to the UK Liability Syndicate where she remained until 2011. In 2011 she migrated to Western Australia with her husband and three young daughters, where after three years away from working to settle her Girls, she has happily returned to the Industry with Quantum. She loves the laid back outdoor lifestyle, endless good weather and amazing food that WA has to offer. Spare time is spent enjoying the great outdoors with her Family and walking her Golden Retrievers.

Debi started her life in Insurance working for QBE Insurance as an Underwriter. After returning from New Zealand and a Hiatus from Insurance (still in Financial Services), Debi commenced working as an Insurance Broker in 2012. Debi obtained her Diploma in Insurance Broking and built a keen interest in Specie Business specifically Jewellers Block Insurance. Debi joined QUA in early 2023 as a Senior Underwriter. On the weekends you can find Debi, her hubby and their furbaby out and about soaking up the sun by the sea or in the rain in search of the best puppycinos. Debi enjoys spending time with her family and is passionate about Football (soccer) especially when Uruguay is playing.

Melissa joined Quantum in May 2023 as an Assistant Underwriter for the commercial lines team. Melissa offers plenty of experience coming into the business, having worked with WSC Insurance as a broker, and administrative duties with Macey Insurance Brokers. During her time at WSC, she accomplished her Tier 2 Qualification and General Insurance certificates. When not working, she is a busy Mum of 4 in her spare time she loves to cook and any new project that involves interior design.

WA born and bred, Katisse is relatively new to the insurance industry, starting as an Underwriter with Quantum Australia in mid-2023. She comes to us with an eclectic background which includes her tenure in the banking and finance industry, medical administration field and also her skills in graphics and marketing with her Bachelor of Creative Advertising obtained from Curtin University in 2009. Keeping her busy outside of work are her two young daughters and honorary first (fur)child she shares with her husband James. Katisse and James also have an interest in property and self-manage their small portfolio, where Katisse’s love of a good spreadsheet comes in handy. Family is their number one priority however and with their eldest daughter starting Kindy, 2024 is set to be a year of change and development for all. With the support of family, her drive to learn, motivation and experience in customer service, Katisse is proving to be a great addition to the QuanTEAM!

Helen joined Quantum in June 2019, as Claims Manager. Helen began her career in 1991 as a Claims Assistant for Kevin R Whelpton and Associates and quickly progressed to Claims Manager, working for Australia Pacific Broking Pty Ltd, Finn Foster and Quattro Risk Services Pty Ltd. In her spare time she enjoys reading, taking walks and relaxing with her family.

Lisa’s first taste of the “working life” was acquired in several English restaurants after leaving school. Then, following a stint caring for the elderly, she turned to children, becoming the manager of a leading toy shop before starting her own family of four. In 2009, she migrated to Australia with husband Peter and offspring in tow, to begin a new chapter in her life. In quick time she found herself behind a desk assisting Peter and fellow director Alex. Lisa thrives on invoicing, account balancing and keeping the paperwork in order. In her spare time she and Peter manage their farm which is home to family, and a happy eclectic menagerie of animals.
